Original Article, March 27, 2010:
Going Pro Entertainment welcomes Pro Cheer All Star Bari Yonkers, currently residing in South Korea as a teacher, originating from Arizona and California.
Bari was a 5 year NFL Cheerleader in Arizona, where she served as the “Showteam” captain for two years. She has performed in over 20 countries including the inaugural regular season NFL game held in Mexico City, the International Chinese New Years parade in Hong Kong and seven Armed Forces Entertainment tours. Bari was also on the Inland Empire 66ers Dance team for Minor League baseball and a member of the “Cheerleaders of America” all star squad. Bari earned a B.A. in Communication from Arizona State University and also holds a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certification. Bari is nationally recognized as the Co-Founder of the military non-profit “Sweethearts for Soldiers.”
“I got involved in Pro Cheerleading because after High School I wanted to continue my passion of performing. I looked up the local NFL team and marked the auditions on my calendar, which also happened to be my 19th birthday. I walked into my first year of auditions totally blind. I had no idea what to expect or even what to wear, and I laugh when I think back to my first audition outfit, plain black soffe shorts and a plain blue sports bra.”
“After a month long tryout process and phoning in to the hotline to see if my number was mentioned, I had made the team!! Had there been a program like Going Pro, I feel I could have saved myself a lot of undue stress and anxiety. I want to make sure that anyone who comes to me for audition advice goes in feeling prepared, relaxed and exuding confidence.”
“My absolute favorite part of a NFL game is the National Anthem. Imagine being down on the field while the National Anthem plays, F18’s are flying overhead and as the song comes to an end the crowd gives a thunderous applause that sends chills down your your spine!”
“This is only a fraction of what you can experience as a pro cheerleader or dancer. Professional cheerleading has opened the doors to so many opportunities and given me an array of unique experiences and memories I will cherish for life. Getting there requires dedication to your pre-audition training, motivation to try your hardest and a love of performing. Good luck to all of you potential applicants and I hope to work with you soon!”
Bari is one of Going Pro Entertainment’s elite pro cheer alums providing audition consulting, team services and available for talent castings. Pro Cheer All Stars Workshops and GPE services are available in several U.S. markets.

Going Pro Entertainment welcomes Pro Cheer All Star of New Jersey/New York, Miranda Lobs.
Miranda is a Miami NFL alumna, where she was a member of the show group. One highlight of her performances with the NFL included dancing for Third Eye Blind. Miranda has coached and choreographed regional all star programs, the New Jersey Revolution Dancers, and the Boca Raton Recreational Cheerleading League. She also enjoys judging, which has included Radio Disney, the Barracudas Ice Girls, and the Tomcat Arena Football Dancers. Miranda graduated from the University of North Florida, where she received a Master of Arts in General Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communication. She recently published a book entitled What No One Ever Told Me About Motherhood.
“No matter how prestigious my accomplishments in life, I always come back to dance. It is my passion, my staple. After college, I quickly realized the opportunities for adult dancers were limited. When I chose to audition to be an NFL Cheerleader, and I didn’t realize how much my life would be affected. The dedication, talent, and teamwork on a pro team can’t be matched. I fell in love with so much more than the dance elements: the community involvement, the networking, and my favorite… standing on the field with 80,000 fans singing the national anthem! It gave me that sense of being part of something bigger than myself.
“The experience of being a professional cheerleader is so incredible that you can’t leave your chances of making the team up to luck. There are many aspects involved in the audition process that go beyond whether you are a pretty girl or a talented dancer. That is why it is so important to utilize the expertise of girls who have been in your shoes, who have gone through the audition process themselves, who know from experience what it takes to gain that coveted spot as a professional cheerleader or dancer.”
Miranda is one of Going Pro Entertainment’s elite pro cheer alums providing audition consulting, team services and available for talent castings. Pro Cheer All Stars Workshops and GPE services are available in several U.S. markets.

Professional cheerleaders and dancers are often known as leaders in the community in the areas of fitness, nutrition and health, so it’s no wonder that the Pro Cheer All Stars represent the best of the best in fitness.
Amy Campbell, Pro Cheer All Star and 2-team NFL Cheerleader in Cincinnati, Ohio, won the 2009 Ms. Fitness Universe Classic and recently placed in the Top Five in the NPC Bikini Championships at the Kentucky Muscle show.
What’s Amy’s advice to stay in tip top shape for dance and cheerleading auditions?
“Condition, Condition, Condition! As a pro cheerleader, endurance and stamina are key for high energy performances. Be sure to incorporate a variety of cardio exercises, especially with intervals, into your workouts. Mix it up by using different cardio machines changing the speed and intensity frequently. The goal is to maximize your heart rate, recover and repeat. This pace will help condition your body while simulating the activity of game day.”
Pro Cheer All Star Nicole Duncan and NFL cheerleading alumna is currently preparing for a fitness competition and has been featured in Oxygen Magazine for her placement in 2009 Europa and 2009 Fitness Olympian competitions. Nicole has also been the director of the NAFL’s Georgia Mustangs.
Nicole says, “It’s my mission to educate and motivate others to reach their fitness goals. Fitness is a lifestyle choice.”
Nicole and Amy are certified personal trainers and offer their fitness tips and more at upcoming Pro Cheer All Stars Workshops in their regions.

Going Pro Entertainment welcomes Pro Cheer All Star of Houston, Texas, Lindsay Scovil Dove.
Lindsay was a 2-year NFL Cheerleader and currently works in Houston television advertising. As a pro cheerleader, Lindsay appeared in the team swimsuit calendar and was featured as an official squad blogger.
“The best way to grow is to learn. And that’s what I started doing in the fall of 2004 when I decided to tryout to be an NFL Cheerleader. For the next few months, I tried to learn as much as I could on my own about professional cheerleading. When I arrived at tryouts in the spring of 2005, however, I realized that there was still a lot that I didn’t know. While my outfit was good, it wasn’t great. I had the “girl-next-door” look, but I didn’t have the pro cheerleader look, and the seasoned vets left me behind on the routines. So I set aside another year of learning and growing, but this time I did more than just try to figure it out on my own. I started asking questions, attending workshops, and getting the real “scoop” from those in the know. When I returned to tryouts in the spring of 2006, I was proud to become an NFL Cheerleader.
For the next two years, I continued to learn and grow and loved every minute of it. One of the best parts of being a professional cheerleader is being able to represent your city and your team to the rest of the world. And along the way, I made some of the best friends I could ever have and more amazing memories than I could count.”
Lindsay is one of Going Pro Entertainment’s elite pro cheer alums providing audition consulting, team services and available for talent castings. Pro Cheer All Stars Workshops and GPE services are available in several U.S. markets.
